Pro Football Camp was founded in 2006 by four people who wanted to give back to the Colorado Springs community. Its mission is to ENCOURAGE and INSPIRE youth to develop themselves into the very best athletes and people they can be. The program gives back to the community by hosting youth camps and a tournament, and offers scholarships to make camps and the tournament available to all kids. Foundational to the camp is the scholarship program, and Pro Football Camp and its partners are committed to admitting every kid who wants to attend the camp, with no kid left behind.

The camp is coached by current and former NFL and professional women football players, and the NFL athletes share their journeys and the character that it takes to play at the highest level. Pro Football Camp teaches proper football skills, athletic skills, and character, and runs the camp and all related activities with Christian values and ethics. Pro Football Camp relies on 100+ volunteers and numerous businesses for support, and behind the scenes a team of professionals, volunteers, and college interns work each year to make that year’s camp impactful for the hundreds of kids who participate.

The leadership team includes Chairperson and Founder and Volunteer Marketing Director Teddi Domann; Board Member and Founder Craig, who is a sports attorney with 360 Sports; Associate Executive Director Heidi Welge; Board Member and former professional athlete Coach Paul; and Board Member and linebacker coach JoJo. Teddi Domann received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 1985. Craig earned undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1990, is a licensed attorney, a member of the American Bar Association and the Missouri Bar, a certified public accountant, and has been a registered NFLPA Member Contract Advisor since 1990. Heidi Welge received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois at Carbondale. Coach Paul played in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns, became a star in the Arena Football League, and before his professional career set records as an All-American wide receiver at CSU-Pueblo and was a leader on their 2014 National Title team. JoJo played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans, and Domann was AP 2nd Team All-American for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and MVP of the linebackers at the Senior Bowl in 2021.

Paul runs the Lionheart 7v7 League for kids 14–18 years old and owns Lionheart Training, which focuses on wide receiver development in Colorado Springs. Coach Paul has also served as a color analyst for KKTV and on Comcast broadcasts for RMAC football, as well as hosting the Pat N Go Show in Colorado Springs.
