The Survival University

The Survival University offers Survival Basics – The Real-World Foundation, with hands-on fire, shelter, water, navigation, and modern tools using both primitive and modern techniques. It also offers a 50-Day Wilderness Immersion, Land Navigation – Never Get Lost Again, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Survival Training, Medical & Rescue, Nature & Connection, and TSU Tactical Training Group.

Programs

• Survival Basics – The Real-World Foundation — No experience required; perfect for absolute beginners. Families welcome. · Hands-on fire, shelter, water, navigation, and modern tools; both primitive and modern techniques.
• 50-Day Wilderness Immersion — Live 50 straight days in the Colorado wilderness; build and sleep in your own primitive shelter; includes full WFR certification.
• Land Navigation – Never Get Lost Again — Topo maps, azimuths, off-trail navigation, orienteering, lensatic compass mastery, terrain association, triangulation, pace counts, and day and night navigation techniques.
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR) — Nationally recognized 70+ hour certification with hands-on trauma, medical, evacuation, wound care, splinting, and CPR training.
• Survival Training — Hands-on training that builds confidence and self-reliance.
• Medical & Rescue — Wilderness medicine, patient care, and rescue skills for backcountry emergencies.
• Nature & Connection — Wild plant uses, natural medicine, and skills of hunting and harvesting from the land.
• TSU Tactical Training Group — Training focused on judgment, coordination, and decision making when conditions are uncertain and pressure is real.
