U.S. Air Force Academy Planetarium

The U.S. Air Force Academy Planetarium offers free public shows that are open to all and seated on a first come, first served basis. It also offers planetarium field trips and group visits, homeschool program shows, and cadet shows. The planetarium uses state-of-the-art 8K projection technology and immersive surround sound, and it has 110 seats.

Programs

• Free Public Shows — Public shows are free and open to all; first come, first served. · Seating is first come, first served. No reservations or tickets are used. Arrive 10 minutes prior to show time.
• Planetarium Field Trips / Group Visits — Academic classes and groups of all types (pre-school, elementary, middle, high school, homeschool, college, etc.) · School field trips and group showings are free of charge. Group shows require a minimum of 20 people. Special requests for fewer than 20 people may be considered by email.
• Homeschool Program Shows — Homeschool families and groups · Homeschool families and groups are welcome to join listed Homeschool Program shows and must register using the link provided next to the show date and time.
• Cadet Shows — The planetarium creates an immersive learning environment for cadets.
