Northfield Tennis offers summer tennis camps that include technical instruction, drills, games, match play, and Varsity Training. The program also offers after-school classes, private instruction, and racquet stringing. Varsity Training consists of 90 minutes of drills focusing on doubles play, followed by 90 minutes of match play.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Week-long camps run Monday through Friday, 8:30am–11:30am, with drop-off starting at 8:15am
• Price: Sessions 1–4 are $365 per week; Session 5 Varsity Tennis camp is $425 per week; a $100 deposit is required per camper for each week, is non-refundable within two weeks of the camp start date, and the full balance is due two weeks before the camp start date
All week-long camps run Monday through Friday. Session 1 runs June 8–12, Session 2 runs June 15–19, Session 3 runs June 22–26, Session 4 runs July 13–17, and Session 5 (Varsity Week) runs July 20–24.
Northfield Tennis has provided professional tennis instruction since 2009 and has worked with various Denver Public Schools. All camps are run and supervised by a USPTR Certified Tennis Professional, and Northfield Tennis has USPTR certified instructors. The leadership team includes Jordan Lutz, a USPTR Certified Professional with over 20 years of teaching experience, and Michael Towne, a USPTR Certified Professional with over three years of teaching experience. The stated mission is that USPTR certified instructors create a challenging and motivating environment that fosters personal growth and confidence, as well as a love of the game.
