About
Cordillera Horse Camp includes riding lessons, games, activities, and art projects. Campers also take part in unmounted lessons on horse care, anatomy, health, and related topics. Each camp week ends with a horse show.

• Schedule: Four-day sessions offered in summer 2026
Cordillera Horse Camp runs eight separate camps in summer 2026, each lasting four days on the following dates: June 9–12, June 16–19, June 23–26, July 7–10, July 14–17, July 21–24, July 28–31, and August 4–7.
The program takes place at the Cordillera Equestrian Center. The Cordillera Metro District provides equestrian center management, open space oversight, and other support services, and the Cordillera Property Owners Association provides recreational programming, social events, and other homeowner services. Cordillera is a 7,000-acre gated alpine community surrounded by one million acres of White River National Forest and offers access to world-class skiing and championship golf.
The leadership team includes Equestrian Center Manager Annie Morris, CPOA General Manager Crystal Wilson, and CMD General Manager Trevor Broersma. The CPOA Board of Directors consists of Michael Autera (President), Scott Valby (Vice President), Steve Houk (Treasurer), David Weiss (Secretary), and Mike Grier (Director). The CMD Board of Directors consists of Richard Saxby (President), Terence Boyle (Vice President), Hiren Patel (Treasurer), Harry Jasper (Secretary), and Ellen Alexander (Assistant Secretary/Treasurer). Volunteers can commit to one week of camp or many. Registration opens February 10, 2026, for previous campers and Cordillera property owners, and opens March 1, 2026, to the public.
