Creative Dance Kids

Creative Dance Kids is an after school performing arts program for preschool through high school students. It includes Hip Hop, Ballet, Poms/Cheer, Broadway Dance, Tumbling, Theater Improv: Let's Play!, YogaKids, and Photography. The program also offers age-appropriate Hip Hop and Pop music, Broadway musical choreography, beginner tumbling skills, improv exercises, children's yoga, and hands-on photography activities.

• After School Performing Arts Program — preschool through high school students · Creative Dance Kids™ is an after school performing arts program for preschool through high school students throughout the Denver Front Range, Phoenix, Tucson & Dallas.
• Hip Hop — High-energy dance form using age-appropriate Hip Hop and Pop music with dance steps influenced by current choreographers.
• Ballet — Unique synthesis of artistry and technique, with age-appropriate skill development, creative expression, and music appreciation.
• Poms/Cheer — Designed to improve self-confidence, physical health, and teamwork while learning arm movements, cheers, chants, and choreography.
• Broadway Dance — Focuses on performance and style with choreography to popular Broadway musicals and musical theatre concepts and skills.
• Tumbling — Beginners’ tumbling skills such as balance, flexibility, rolls, backbends, handstands, and cartwheels.
• Theater Improv: Let's Play! — Introduction to theater through games and improv exercises; teaches stage directions, memorization skills, and public speaking confidence.
• YogaKids — Children’s yoga classes with playful movement and partner activity.
• Photography — Basic photography skills through hands-on photography activities, culminating in a gallery showing.

About the provider

Creative Dance Kids offers scholarships to students in need of financial aid. Prorated tuition is available for students who enroll after the first class. The program does not give credits or refunds for classes missed mid-session, and drop in classes are not permitted. After the second week of class, students with unpaid tuition balances may be asked to sit out until payment is received. If a class is cancelled, the program offers a make-up class, a class credit for a future session, or a refund.
