About the provider
Ekar Farm says it connects people to community, and community to the earth. It grows sustainably produced fruits and vegetables and works on an urban farm in Aurora, Colorado. The farm is now in its 17th season and was founded in 2010. Ekar serves as a focal point for the Denver Metro Area’s community around food security, environmentalism, and urban farming, and it has worked with food access partners including Jewish Family Services’ Weinberg Food Pantry, Metro Caring, Kavod Senior Life, Hope Communities, SAME Cafe, Spirit of the Sun, and a WIC immigrant CSA program.
