About
Altitude Youth Ultimate Summer Camps focuses on Ultimate Frisbee and includes games to develop disc fundamentals. The program offers co-ed camps for both experienced players and youth athletes who are new to the sport. All camp participants receive a camp jersey and a disc, and participants only need running shoes or soccer-style cleats to take part in activities.

• Schedule: Full Day camps run 9am – 4pm; Half Day camps run 9am – 1pm
Altitude Youth Ultimate Summer Camps is part of Altitude Ultimate, a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2014. Altitude Ultimate is dedicated to developing athletes and promoting youth participation in Ultimate Frisbee teams, leagues, tournaments, camps, and clinics across the Front Range, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain West. The organization states that it values athletic sportsmanship over winning-at-all-costs and welcomes all players to participate in its programs while following USA Ultimate’s Gender Inclusion Policy.
All AYU instructors are described as having a wealth of experience in coaching and are all Safe Sport Trained. The organization notes that it is important that no one be excluded from participating in any event they sponsor because of financial challenges with registration fees, and financial aid is available via a form. Camps require a minimum of 10 sign-ups per camp to run, and posted locations are tentative until field reservations open up and may change to a nearby field if needed.
The refund policy for the camps is as follows: more than 6 weeks (45 days) prior to the start of camp – 75% back; 45–10 days prior to the start of camp – 50% back; no refunds if canceled within 10 days of the camp start date. The leadership team includes Michael Richard as Senior Operations Manager and Libby Cravens as Outreach Director, with 2026 officers listed as President – Joe Durst, Vice President – Libby Cravens, Secretary – Zach Hochstadt, and Treasurer – Chris Ward.
