The Urban Farm offers Day Off School Camps with animal interactions, crafts, games, and agriculture education. It also offers year-round equine classes for youth ages 8-18, where participants learn horsemanship and riding skills, and Equine Crash Courses held four times a year on Sundays from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM in February, May, August, and November. Horse Camps are also offered as half-day and full-day camps.

- Day Off School Camps — Ages 4-12 · Aligned with the DPS school district calendar; standard camp hours 9:00 AM-3:00 PM; before care 8:00 AM-9:00 AM; aftercare 3:00 PM-5:00 PM · $90 per day · Fun day full of animal interactions, crafts, games, agriculture education and more. Before care and aftercare are available for additional fees.
- Spring Break Camp — Not stated · March 29th-April 2nd, 2027; standard camp hours 9:00 AM-3:00 PM; before care 8:00 AM-9:00 AM; aftercare 3:00 PM-5:00 PM · Enrollment for Spring Break Camp will open at a later date.
- Year-Round Equine Classes — Youth ages 8-18 · Year-round; current riding program sessions are listed as Fall 2026 and Holiday 2026 · Provides youth ages 8-18 the opportunity to learn horsemanship and riding skills. TUF is a foundational barn focused on teaching fundamental skills of horsemanship and horseback riding.
- Equine Crash Courses — Not stated · Offered 4 times a year; month-long classes on Sundays from 1:30 PM-3:30 PM in February, May, August and November · $500 · Intended as a prerequisite to joining the Equine Program. Participants will not be on horseback at all during this course.

About the provider
The Urban Farm’s mission is to give urban youth access to local food and agricultural systems by removing barriers such as land access, time, location, and finances. Its programs include animal husbandry, organic gardening, environmental education, land conservation, and food security, along with practical and behavioral life skills for youth and young adults.

Members receive a 10% discount on Day Camps. Discounts apply to Day Camp cost only; before care and aftercare cannot be discounted.
