The camp is part of a family owned and operated gymnastics school that has been in operation since 1983. Since 1983, Dardano’s has been committed to combining fun with maximum achievement for children of all ages. The stated mission is to create a fun, safe, positive environment where each child can thrive as an athlete and as an individual. The program is described as a neighborhood gym with a community atmosphere between parents. Unique features include flexible scheduling by the day or by the week, themed weeks, and that members and non-members are welcome with no membership fee required. Students continuing in the program are guaranteed enrollment, and many classes are full and on a waitlist. Students must be fully potty-trained and need to bring a peanut-free snack and a water bottle each day.
Parent and participant testimonials describe children having fun, growing in confidence, a friendly community atmosphere among parents, positive experiences with coaches and staff, and adults taking private lessons and progressing in acrobatics and gymnastics.
