About
Denver Tennis Park Youth Programs offer tennis activities that include Elementary School Summer Camps, USTA Junior Team Tennis, Middle and High School Intermediate sessions, Tournament Team Summer Camps, and Advanced Development Summer Camps. The programs use the USTA “ROGY” pathway with Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow ball progression, along with equipment and court dimensions that match each age and stage. The environment is described as fun, positive, enthusiastic, challenging, and team-oriented, with a focus on tennis development, youth development, and life skills.

• Schedule: Academic hours with program options available Monday–Sunday during morning, daytime, and evening hours
• Price: A non-refundable $25 processing and administrative fee from the full payment will be applied for each class registration.
Formed in 2017, Denver Tennis Park is the result of a public-private partnership between the University of Denver, Denver Public Schools, and private philanthropy. Since 2018, the organization has stated a belief that physical and mental fitness have the power to transform lives. Its mission is to be an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing youth development through equitable access to tennis, supporting youth and families toward an equitable future, and serving all kids and the whole kid.
The staff and board include tennis professionals, business leaders, community leaders, and other individuals dedicated to serving kids, and all coaches must have experience in and a deep commitment to working with kids. The organization states that it does not use a membership model because it views tennis as a resource, not a privilege, and it focuses on being inclusive and engaging all people and tennis skill levels. Denver Tennis Park partners with schools, community parks, and youth and community-based organizations, and it hosts various Denver Public Schools high school team practices and matches. Junior Team Tennis at Denver Tennis Park focuses on fun, fitness, and friendships, with players developing match experience, teamwork, and sportsmanship while representing the program throughout the summer.
