The Dance Movement offers dance lessons, tumbling, acro/tumbling, Preschool Combo Classes, Mini & Me Classes, and styles including tap, ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, poms, and musical theater. The program also includes Strength & Conditioning and Leaps & Turns classes, as well as Summer Day Camps and summer classes. Summer Day Camps are taught by Master Instructor and Studio Director Miss Bree.
• Ages: 18 months–18 years old
• Schedule: The dance season runs from mid-August through the end of May, with a Winter Showcase Recital in December and a Spring Showcase Recital on June 6, 2026; summer dance classes are a 6-week session running from mid-June through July 31, and 2026 summer classes and day camps run June 15–July 30 with the studio closed the week of July 4; 2025 Summer Day Camps include Princess and Unicorn Dance Camp June 16–18 from 9:00am–11:30am, Let’s Dance with Lilo & Stitch! July 7–9 from 9:00am–11:30am, TDM’s Fairytale Dance Magic! July 14–16 from 9:00am–11:30am, and TDM’s Tumbling Safari Adventure Camp! July 21–23 from 9:00am–12:00pm; classes with 3 or fewer registered dancers will be removed from the schedule; free trial classes and makeup classes are not available during the summer; Competitive Team auditions are held in May/June 2026
• Price: 2025 Summer Dance Pricing is $150 total for 6-week session for 1 class per week, $270 for 2 classes per week, $375 for 3 classes per week, $465 for 4 classes per week, $540 for 5 classes per week, and $600 for 6 classes per week, with a drop-in price of $30 per class; Let’s Dance with Lilo & Stitch! camp costs $200, TDM’s Fairytale Dance Magic! camp costs $200, TDM’s Tumbling Safari Adventure Camp! costs $250, and Princess and Unicorn Dance Camp costs $200; families with more than one dancer enrolled in summer classes receive a 10% discount for each child after the first full price child is paid; there are no registration fees for summer classes; pricing is for the entire six-week summer session
The Dance Movement was established in 2015 and is described as an award-winning, nationally-recognized dance studio based in Erie, Colorado. The faculty consists of accredited Master Instructors and Choreographers in Colorado, and Miss Bree is the Master Instructor and Studio Director. The studio offers weekly classes for both recreational students and Competitive Team dancers and is described as nurturing the next generation of elite dancers. Each genre and each class, regardless of age, is grounded in correct technique, and the studio emphasizes technique, passion, artistry, love, and performance. The Dance Movement is described as the Gold Standard for Dance Education in Colorado and as a family-oriented environment where every dancer feels seen, known, and supported.
The program’s mission is to provide the very best technical training in a caring and supportive atmosphere. To ensure the integrity and safety of technical training and the dance/tumbling program, dancers must adhere to the age and skill requirements for each class.
