About
Annunciation Heights Youth Camps offers a Catholic youth summer camp experience that includes outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, hikes, confession, and mass. The program includes two distinct options called Base Camp Sessions and Rustic Camp Sessions, as well as a Counselor in Training Camp.
• Schedule: Week-long sessions, with camper drop-off on Sundays from 2:30–4:00pm and camper pickup on Fridays after an 11:30am mass, lunch, and checkout
• Price: Camp fees are $900/week for base and rustic camp.
Annunciation Heights Youth Camps has 5+ years organizing camps and reports serving 2,000+ campers. The mission of Annunciation Heights is to be a place of transformative encounter with Jesus Christ so that those served may live life fully for the glory of the Father, through experiences of authentic connection immersed in the beauty of God's creation. The program describes itself as a safe, faith-based environment with responsible, faith-driven staff and notes that faith is a central component of the experience. Youth Camps, Family Camps, Outdoor Education for Schools, Guest Groups, and a Missionary Program are also offered, and scholarships are available through donors. Campers receive a packing list in a Parent Packet after registration, and the program states that it enhances learning through hands-on experiences in nature tailored for both Catholic and public schools.
Testimonials from participants and families include statements about powerful encounters with Christ, memorable experiences of confession, and challenges such as hikes. One camper reported that a hike was their greatest challenge, another said they felt loved and forgiven in confession, and another said they are happier in nature while growing closer to the Lord. A parent of a 2024 camper reported that their son's connection with Jesus and his faith deepened after a week at Annunciation Heights, and an anonymous family from Family Camp 2024 called AH an irreplaceable treasure. The program reports that 97% of campers said their relationship with Jesus is better or much better after their week of camp, and another participant stated that they learned they are valued.
