About
Annunciation Heights Youth Camps offers a Catholic youth summer camp experience that includes outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, a hike, confession, and mass. Faith is a central component of the experience, and the camp includes both Base Camp Sessions and Rustic Camp Sessions, as well as a Counselor in Training Camp.
• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong sessions with camper drop-off on Sundays from 2:30–4:00pm and camper pickup on Fridays after an 11:30am mass, lunch, and checkout
• Price: Camp fees are $900/week for base and rustic camp.
Annunciation Heights was born of Camp St Malo and is steeped in over 100 years of history, with more than 5 years organizing camps under the Annunciation Heights name and over 2,000 campers served. The mission of Annunciation Heights is to be a place of transformative encounter with Jesus Christ so that those served may live life fully for the glory of the Father, fostering experiences of authentic connection immersed in the beauty of God's creation. The organization also offers Youth Camps, Family Camps, Outdoor Education for Schools, Guest Groups programs, the Altum Institute Missionary Program, a Hispanic Day Camp, a Work and Worship Weekend, and a Young Adult Weekend. Campers receive a packing list in the Parent Packet after registration, with a preview available in the Base Camp Packet and Rustic Camp Packet.
Parent and camper feedback includes statements such as, “My encounter with Christ was truly powerful,” “My greatest challenge was the hike, and I crushed my limits,” and “To sum it up, my son's connection with Jesus and his faith deepened significantly after spending a week at Annunciation Heights.” Other comments describe confession as especially memorable, refer to Annunciation Heights as “an irreplaceable treasure,” and note that participants felt happier in nature, learned that they are valued, and remembered the beauty of the setting and how it brought them closer to God.
