The program has over 16 years of experience with youth education classes and riding instruction and has been a site for Pima Medical School labs for over 11 years. Its mission states that the vision is, “If we can reach the youth of today, it is our future for tomorrow,” and it combines the therapeutic qualities of horses with biblical principles to guide youth and individuals with horses and to teach the beauty of these animals. The program is a Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Program, is certified by the O.K. Corral Series for EAP/EAL exercises, and holds non-profit 501(c)3 CHA Program status.
The leadership team includes Susan Kamlan, President/Web, Equine Professional, CHA Instructor, O.K. Staff credentials include CHA Certified Instructors and certificate holders, Certified Horsemanship Association English/Western, Equine Assisted Therapy/Equine Assisted Learning training with O.K.
