About
Alliance YOSA Volleyball offers a volleyball training program that includes volleyball practice, volleyball clinics, volleyball camps, and open gyms. The program also runs the Boys & Girls Awesome Volleyball Camp and Boys Club competitive teams for U14, U15, U16, and U17 boys teams. It operates as a volleyball training center for excellence for committed athletes.

Alliance YOSA Volleyball Club was launched in 2012. The club’s mission is to provide a positive and educational experience through engaging in high-level volleyball practice. Club Founder and Director Dr. Gylton Da Matta has coached several Olympic and World Champion players, as well as All-Americans at the DI and DII collegiate levels. The program teaches all ages, genders, and experience levels and uses a volleyball expertise development program that blends elite, cutting-edge training, humility, and performance skills from Brazil, the United States, Denmark, Italy, and France. The program focuses on a safe, inclusive, respectful, diverse, and positive environment, along with acquiring and building personal-social skills, injury prevention, and overall health and wellness. It trains athletes who want to play high-level club volleyball and who plan to play in college and/or for a lifetime, and offers a newsletter sign-up to learn about new programs, open gyms, guest coaches, and more.
For 2025–2026, after hosting five elite volleyball people from Manaus in the Rainforest region of Brazil, top teams from Alliance YOSA Volleyball have decided to do a service learning trip to Brazil. This educational and cultural trip includes visiting the cities of Florianopolis, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, and/or Rio de Janeiro to transform lives through sharing socks, clothes, and warm suits while playing volleyball with partners in Brazil.
