About

Alliance YOSA Volleyball offers specific activities that include the Yosa Volley Kids Program, the 2025 Boys & Girls Awesome Volleyball Camp - Fort Collins, and a Volleyball Clinic - Boys and Girls. The program also includes 2025-2026 Boys Club competitive teams for U14, U15, U16, and U17 boys, along with high-level volleyball practice. In addition to training, Alliance YOSA Volleyball includes a service learning trip to Brazil that combines volleyball with an educational and cultural experience.

Club Founder and Director, Dr. Gylton Da Matta, launched the Alliance YOSA Volleyball Club in 2012. Dr. Da Matta has coached several Olympic and World Champion players, as well as All-Americans at the Division I and Division II collegiate levels. His volleyball expertise development program blends elite, cutting-edge training, humility, and performance skills from Brazil, the United States, and other international programs in Denmark, Italy, and France, and when possible he invites world-class coaches to work with players at Alliance YOSA Volleyball. The stated mission of Alliance YOSA Volleyball is to provide a positive and educational experience through engaging in high-level volleyball practice.

The program describes itself as an Alliance of people from Alaska to Argentina and from Canada to Terra Del Fuego in Chile, and as the Alliance of the Americas Youth Sports Academy. As part of its community involvement for 2025-2026, after hosting five elite volleyball people from Manaus in the Brazilian rainforest, the program’s top teams have planned a service learning trip to Brazil. On this trip, they plan to visit cities such as Florianopolis, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, and/or Rio de Janeiro for an educational and cultural experience that includes sharing socks, clothes, and warm suits while playing volleyball with partners in Brazil.
