Mountain Kids

Mountain Kids offers gymnastics classes for toddlers with a parent, preschoolers, school-age children, and students in middle and high school. It also offers a homeschool gymnastics program for homeschool children, Moonbeamers for walking children through age 3, Rainbow Riders for ages 3 to 5, Intro to GymStars for ages 4 to 5, GymStars for ages 5+, Rainbow Riders & Creative Ballet Combo for ages 3 to 5, Galaxy Gang for ages 8 to 12, and competitive gymnastics teams for ages 7+.

• Gymnastics Classes — toddlers (with mom or dad), preschoolers, school age children, and students in middle and high school · Long-term contract not required; enrollment accepted throughout the year; prorated if enrolling in the middle of the session; free class offered
• Homeschool Gymnastics Program — homeschool children · Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. · Two-hour class; all skill levels welcome
• Moonbeamers — Walking - Age 3 · Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.; Thursday or Friday, 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; Saturday, 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. · $123 per month · 45-minute parent-shared program; open gym on Fridays at no extra charge
• Rainbow Riders — Ages 3 - 5 years old · Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.; Thursday or Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. · $148 per month · Open gym on Fridays for just $5
• Intro to GymStars — Ages 4 - 5 years old · Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. · $148 per month · One-hour class targeted towards younger kids with no prior gymnastics experience
• GymStars — Ages 5+ · Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 4:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 4:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. · $225–$263 per month · Girls 1.5 hour and 2 hour classes; boys 1.5 hour class
• Rainbow Riders & Creative Ballet Combo — Ages 3-5 · Mondays, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; Saturdays, 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. · $148 per month · Teacher recommendation is required; one-hour class

• Competitive Gymnastics Teams — Ages 7+ · USAIGC gymnastics team

About the provider

Mountain Gymnastics Training Center was founded in Fort Collins in 1976 by Ron and Mary Baretta. Ron was a collegiate gymnast, a WAC all-around champion, and a 2002 Colorado State University Sports Hall of Fame inductee. The mission is to provide an opportunity for children to grow in confidence and physical ability through a variety of activities in a safe and positive learning environment.

No long-term contract is required. Enrollment is accepted throughout the year. Mid-session enrollment is prorated. Free class offered. Small class sizes in homeschool program. Tuition is by month for several classes.
