Stone Canyon Summer Camp

Stone Canyon Summer Camp takes place at Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures and is part of a program that focuses on educational and recreational experiences. The camp is part of Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures, which offers experiential, adventure, and social based programming.

Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures is part of Douglas County School District. The mission of Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures is to provide innovative educational and recreational experiences that empower clients to become stewards of their community and environment, using a blend of experiential, adventure, and social based programming to develop responsible individuals, daring leaders, and highly effective teams. The leadership team for Stone Canyon Summer Camp includes Amy Paulsen (Summer Camp Manager), Seanna Kautz (Outdoor Education Manager), Chance Campbell (Assistant Program Manager), Sonja White (Assistant Director), and Dylan Shofner (Administrative Assistant). One parent described the camp as well organized and expressed interest in registering again for the next summer. Another parent shared that their child returned from a first sleepaway experience at Stone Canyon with stories, crafts, new friends, and new skills, and that the child was already asking to return, while the parents described the camp as well-organized and welcoming and expressed appreciation for the staff.
