Stone Canyon Summer Camp is part of Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures, which is part of Douglas County School District. The program’s mission is to provide innovative educational and recreational experiences that empower clients to become stewards of their community and environment, using a blend of experiential, adventure, and social based programming to develop responsible individuals, daring leaders, and highly effective teams. The leadership team includes Amy Paulsen (Summer Camp Manager), Seanna Kautz (Outdoor Education Manager), Chance Campbell (Assistant Program Manager), Sonja White (Assistant Director), and Dylan Shofner (Administrative Assistant). One parent described the camp as well organized and expressed eagerness to register again, and another parent reported that their child returned from a first sleepaway experience at Stone Canyon with stories, crafts, new friends, new skills, and a desire to return, and noted that they found the camp well organized and welcoming.
