About

Juniper Hill Ranch Summer Camps give kids time to explore the outdoors, spend time with ranch animals, and learn how to transform flowers and fruits into organic chapstick, art, crafts and more. Mini-donkeys, sheep, a duck and chickens are part of daily life at the ranch and play a key role in regenerating the pastures and keeping people laughing.

• Ages: 6–13 years old

At Juniper Hill Ranch Camp, the stated mission is that laughing, making new friends and having fun in the outdoors are the best ways to build confidence and compassionate leadership in girls. Through their summer camps and horse boarding community, Juniper Hill Ranch is described as a place where people can come together and feel a strong sense of belonging in a ranch setting just a couple miles from Boulder but worlds away. The ranch was created in 1969, when a German woman with a passion for horses carved a 10-acre ranch out of the original Kirkmeyer Farm, and it is described as a place for kids and adults to gather, have new experiences and feel connected to this corner of the West. Juniper Hill Ranch also has an email newsletter called the Modern-Day Pony Express that shares news on summer camps, sheep, goats and chickens and more.
