CenterStage Theatre Company Youth Programs

CenterStage Theatre Company Youth Programs offers Summer Theatre Camps, Classes & Workshops, and Theatre Productions. Summer Theatre Camps include one- and two-week camps, musical theatre intensives, and creative drama adventures. Classes & Workshops include skill-building classes and workshops, and Theatre Productions are in-depth productions for young performers.

Programs

• Summer Theatre Camps — Grades 2 through high school · One- and two-week camps offered all summer long; includes musical theatre intensives and creative drama adventures.
• Classes & Workshops — Grades 2-12; Ages 11-18+ for one listed class · Skill-building classes and workshops that help young performers grow in confidence, creativity, and craft.
• Theatre Productions — Grades 2-8; Grades 6-12 · In-depth productions for young performers to build skills, confidence, and a love of theatre.

About the provider

CenterStage Theatre Company was founded in 1999, became a nonprofit in 2004, launched Tapestry Theatre in 2012, and opened the Black Box Theatre in 2018. Its executive artistic director is Steve Wilson. The company says it creates artistic productions and programs that enlighten, educate, and entertain the community, and that it inspires and nurtures a passion for the performing arts by providing opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Programs are built on inclusion, artistic excellence, and the belief that theatre changes lives. CenterStage welcomes all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
