Kid’s Summer Art Club gives kids time to explore a variety of mediums and learn different art techniques. During each meeting, kids can make new art-loving friends and take home a new masterpiece.
• Ages: 6–10 years old
• Schedule: Fridays 1:00 – 2:30 pm
• Price: $25 / day
Kid’s Summer Art Club meets at Mosaic, which opened in November 2020. The program is led by Art Teacher, Emily Vigil, along with Leanna Johnson and Jordan Johnson. Mosaic’s stated goal is to create more than just a store, with a unique downtown destination designed to encourage creativity, culture, and community in an inviting, contemporary space. Mosaic also provides an outlet for local artists and makers to sell their handmade goods and provide a safe shopping experience for the community. Families are asked to register in advance with no drop-ins, sign up at least 24 hours before the class date, and note that space is limited and projects and instructor are subject to change. Refunds can be made up to 7 days prior to the session if a child cannot attend, and registrations may be transferred to another child if Mosaic is informed ahead of time.
