Avid4 Adventure offers day camps where campers do paddling, biking, rock climbing, and hiking. The program also offers expeditions with backcountry camping, tent setup, campsite maintenance, meal preparation, and Leave No Trace principles, as well as overnight camps where campers sleep in cabins and take part in core outdoor sport activities.
Programs
- Day Camps — PreK - 7th · Monday – Friday · Daily drop off - pick up. Activities include paddling, biking, rock climbing or hiking. Camps are customized to kids’ ages and ability levels.
- Expeditions — grades 5-12 · 1-2 week sessions · Backcountry adventure camps. Campers sleep in tents, help set up and maintain campsite, help prepare meals, and learn Leave No Trace principles.
- Overnight Camps — 1st - 12th · Sleep-away camps at Camp Windy Peak and Camp Blue Sky. Campers sleep in cabins and participate in core outdoor sport activities.

About the provider
Avid4 Adventure says its leadership team is led by founder David Secunda, who is described as a former president of the Outdoor Industry Association and a 25-year vet of the outdoor education industry. The program says it believes in the transformative power of the outdoors and states that it is certified as a B Corp, accredited by the American Camp Association, and named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps.
Programs evolve as campers grow from age 3 to 17. Instructors are 18 and older. Day Camps: K-7th grade kids consist of 2 instructors with no more than 13–14 kids; Pre-K-1st grade ratio is 1 instructor with no more than 6 kids. Overnight camp cabins have many of the comforts of home.
