The program says it provides children with an educational environment where they can learn about the world around them, acquire and strengthen new skills, spend ample time outdoors, and socialize with their peers, and it emphasizes resilience, respect, kindness, and community service.

To qualify for state-funded tuition, Colorado requires students to be at least 5 years old by October 1 of the year they enroll, be registered as homeschool students by submitting a Notice of Intent to Homeschool, and not be enrolled in an independent, private, or parochial school for compulsory attendance purposes.

What families say

“My oldest child has participated in Real Red Riding Hoods for nearly one year—through winter, spring and summer. It has easily been the most incredible, unique and educational experience of his childhood to this point.” — Emily (google review)
