Denver Dance Starz

Denver Dance Starz offers recreation classes for ages 2 to 18 in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, pom, lyrical, and creative movement. It also offers Tap/Jazz combo classes, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet, Creative movement, Tap, Jazz, and Pompom classes. Tuition is listed at $80 to $88 per month for recreation classes, Tap/Jazz combo, Hip Hop, and Lyrical, and $80 to $120 per month for Ballet.

• Hip Hop — 5 and older; 8-10 yr.; 11+ yr. · Tuesday 5:00-6:00 pm; Tuesday 6:00-7:00 pm; Thursday 8:00-9:00 pm · $80–$88 per month · Upbeat class with age appropriate dance moves.
• Lyrical — 9 and older; 9+ yr. · Thursday 8:00-9:00 pm · $80–$88 per month · Modern form of dance combining jazz and ballet for a more flowing style.
• Ballet — beginning at age 5; 5-7 yr.; 8+ yr. · Monday 5:30-7:00 pm; Monday 6:00-7:00 pm; Monday 7:00-8:30 pm; Tuesday 7:00-8:00 pm · $80–$120 per month · All levels are leveled; beginning level open to any dancers, other levels require placement by ballet staff.

About the provider

Denver Dance Starz has been operating since 1998. It has taken part in community events such as Mission Trace Trick-or-Treat Street, the Webster Lake Relay for Life, and the Denver Koman Race for the Cure. The studio has donated dance shoes and dancewear to local charities, supported a sister dance studio in Biloxi, Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina, and became a Hope Studio for Dancers Against Cancer in 2017.

Classes are offered for recreational and competitive dancers. Dancers can attend a free trial class. Tuition is charged based on total hours per week and is due on the first of the month. Fees are for the entire month and may not be prorated. A $25/family registration fee is due at registration. A discounted tuition scale is offered for dancers taking multiple classes and families with more than one dancer. Every dancer has the opportunity to perform in two annual shows.
