Air Force Academy Equestrian Center Youth Programs

Air Force Academy Equestrian Center Youth Programs offers guided group trail rides, riding lessons, summer camps, hayrides, moonlight horseback rides, and family event days. The program also provides lead line horse rentals, mini horse rentals, and photo horse rentals, along with English and Western horsemanship lessons, group special events, birthday parties, and horse trail riding. All activities are by reservation only and require registration through a WebTrac account, with each participant added and individually enrolled.

• Ages: 8–12 years old
• Schedule: Activities available Tuesday–Sunday with seasonal hours; closed Mondays; all activities by reservation only
• Price: $75 per person one hour guided trail ride; $130 per person two hour guided trail ride; $110 one and a half hour moonlight/evening rides; $10 additional fee for non-DoD cardholders in party; $25 per 30 minutes for lead line, mini, and photo horse rentals; $10 per day trailer-in fee or $120 yearly passes

The Equestrian Center hosts the AFA Cadet Equestrian and Rodeo Teams and works closely with other community organizations. Trailer-ins are allowed for horse trail riding only, with no other use of Equestrian Center facilities permitted. User eligibility is restricted to specified military and DoD-affiliated categories and their guests.
