Air Force Academy Equestrian Center

The Air Force Academy Equestrian Center offers guided group trail rides, lead line, mini and horse photo rentals, hay rides, horsemanship lessons, summer camps, boarding, trailer-ins, and group special events and birthday parties. Guided group trail rides are for ages 8 and up and include one- and two-hour rides. Horsemanship lessons include instruction on riding, grooming, saddling, and proper etiquette.

Programs

• Guided Group Trail Rides — For ages 8 and up. · Excellent way to gain riding experience for beginners or learn the trails for seasoned riders. Enjoy scenic views through one and two hour guided trail rides.
• Hay Rides — Seasonal scheduled rides and special events. Reservations required.
• Horsemanship Lessons — English/Western horsemanship lessons include instruction on riding, grooming, saddling and proper etiquette.
• Summer Camps
• Group Special Events and Birthday Parties — Group special events such as hayrides, birthday parties, guided group trail rides, and more. Custom horse related events available depending on ages and interests.

About the provider

• Lead Line, Mini and Horse Photo Rentals — Ages up to 12 with a parent leading the horse. Under ages 6 can rent mini horses to pet/lead/groom with parent assisting (no riding). · Rent a horse to lead your child around for them to gain experience. Horse rentals can also be used in personal photoshoots (no riding).
• Boarding — Eligible patrons can board their personal horse(s) at the Equestrian Center.
• Trailer-Ins — Eligible patrons can trailer-in and park at the Equestrian Center trailer-in lot to utilize the horse trails. Trailer-ins are for horse trail riding only.
