SM&NC for All Programs is open and free of charge exclusively to neurodiverse students and their families. It includes Astronomy for All Evening, Animals for All: Caring for Critters, Animals for All: Caring for Exotic Critters, and Animals for All: Heckscher Farm Open Evening. The animals programs include hands-on work with Heckscher Farm animals and exotic critters, outside the traditional Junior Curator program environment.
Programs
- SM&NC For All Programs — Neurodiverse & special needs participants · Free non-traditional programs for neurodiverse and special needs participants; open and free of charge exclusively to neurodiverse students and their families.
- Astronomy for All Evening — Free program designed for neurodivergent participants who may experience better success with non-traditional program formats.
- Animals for All: Caring for Critters — Provides an opportunity for students with disabilities to work hands-on with Heckscher Farm animals outside of the traditional Junior Curator program environment.
- Animals for All: Caring for Exotic Critters — Heckscher WILD! based complement to the Caring for Critters program at Heckscher Farm; provides an opportunity for students with disabilities to work hands-on with exotic critters.
- Animals for All: Heckscher Farm Open Evening — Free program designed for neurodivergent participants who may experience better success with non-traditional program formats.
