Riverbrook Regional YMCA Gymnastics is part of the Riverbrook Regional YMCA, which also offers swimming lessons, health and fitness programs, youth and adult sports, early childhood educational programs, summer day camps, senior activities, afterschool child care, volunteer opportunities, the Wahoos Swim Team, and The Gymnastics Center. The program operates within overall Y hours that run Monday through Friday from early morning to evening, with additional hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Riverbrook Regional YMCA traces its beginnings to 1956 and was officially chartered in 1972. Its mission statement describes it as a charitable organization dedicated to maximizing the personal potential of all individuals in the community. The organization has been described by some civic leaders as one of the “building blocks” of the community and has been part of the community for over 50 years. The YMCA offers a free 3-day trial for new members, a mobile app, a Loop Car Charger, and financial assistance for youth programs, summer camps, individuals with special needs, and senior wellness, with a stated focus on inclusivity and a values-based environment where everyone is welcome. The leadership team includes Glen LeBlanc (Chair), Susan Goldman, Esq. (Immediate Past Chair), Dr. Michael Crystal (First Vice Chair), Fred Wirth (Acting Treasurer), Bill Meehan, Esq. (Secretary), Beth Kohl (Vice Chair), and board members Jennifer Hickey, Nichole Jefferson, Paige Kellogg, Vivian Lee-Shiue, Jack McFadden, Jennifer Morello, Chris Stengrim, Joy Sy, Tom Viggiano, and Dr. Susan Weinberger.
