Greenwood Trails Summer Camp

Greenwood Trails Summer Camp offers 2 and 3 week sessions for boys and girls ages 7 to 16. Campers have six 50-minute activity periods each day, and a sample daily schedule includes Flag Raising and Breakfast, Cabin “Kapers,” Major 1, Major 2, Cabin Period or Delaware Time, Lunch, “Siesta,” Cabin Period or DCP, Snack Shack and Mail Call, Minor 1, Minor 2, Flag Lowering and Dinner, Evening Activity, Shower Hour, Nightly Cabin Debrief, and Lights Out.

About the provider

The camp’s mission statement says the program is designed to give every camper an experience that balances individual choice with strong community connections with cabinmates and age groups. A testimonial from Max says campers may start out nervous or shy, then begin to reach out, stop missing home, and try new activities such as swimming in the lake.
