Jr. Wizards Basketball Camps & Clinics offers basketball clinics, Jr. Wizards Gameday Clinics, Jr. Wizards Summer Camp, Jr. Wizards Holiday Camp, Mystics Summer Camp, and coaching education programs. Jr. Wizards Basketball Camps & Clinics are first and foremost teaching programs that emphasize fundamental instruction, individual improvement, and team concepts in a fun yet structured environment. Jr. Wizards Gameday Clinics provide children with an opportunity to play on an NBA game court and have up-close and personal interactions with their heroes.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Jr. Wizards Summer Camp 2026 sessions run in one-week blocks from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on listed dates.
• Price: Register before December 15 to lock in the Black Friday special of $275 for a one week session.
The goal of the Jr. Wizards program is to encourage the growth and development of the game of basketball in the DMV through instructional programming and memorable experiences for parents, coaches, and players of all skill levels. The program is the Official Youth Basketball programs of the Washington Wizards, Washington Mystics, and Capital City Go-Go. Community involvement includes Wizards Reading Zone partnerships with DC Public Library, Prince George’s County, City of Alexandria, Fairfax County Public Library, Montgomery County Public Library, and Arlington Public Library, as well as a Winter Reading Challenge. One parent described Jr. Wizards Summer Camp by saying, “Our son had an absolute blast at the camp. Thank you so much. It was very well run, fun, and inspiring.” Another clinic parent said, “I want to thank you for providing such a special day for my boys. The clinic far exceeded any expectations we might have had. Everyone made my boys feel welcomed and excited, from the people at the check-in table to the coaches leading the drills.”
