Kids Elite Sports Camp and UA Premier Training states that its aim is to empower children to live healthy and active lifestyles through high-quality developmental sports, fitness, and enrichment programs. The program highlights that it provides an excellent foundation for child development through individual and team sports, offers recreational games that teach strategy and teamwork using core values, and includes free play before the camp day begins. Core values are listed as Effort, Leadership, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence, and a “Camper of the Day” is selected from each camper group for demonstrating the day’s core value.

Kids Elite staff is described as handpicked, screened, and certified, with counselors undergoing rigorous training. Desmond Dunham (“Coach D”) initially developed the idea in 2013 and officially launched Kids Elite in summer 2014. By summer 2019, Kids Elite offered eight weeks of summer camp, and in 2020 Coach D partnered with Under Armour as an ambassador and coach to host premier training programs for dedicated youth athletes. In partnership with Under Armour, the program provides tailored premier training for dedicated and experienced youth athletes ages 8–18 who seek to develop skills and excel in their primary sports. Kids Elite offered free virtual sessions during a time when in-person camps were not offered and reopened in 2023 after hosting camp virtually during the pandemic.

The program notes that it is the only camp in the DMV that offers Interactive Football for campers ages 8 and up. Testimonials from parents describe daily drop-in options being helpful, counselors as patient and thoughtful, and children enjoying the variety of sports and activities, including Fun Day Friday Pizza Day, tournaments, weekly notes home, and a Counselors in Training program. Parents report that their children have attended for multiple summers, that campers come home tired after full days of activity, and that children who are new to sports have been introduced to a variety of activities while having fun.

Families are instructed that campers should bring their own lunch, a water bottle, and extra face masks, along with any sunscreen or medical supplies needed for allergic reactions. The program advises clearly labeling each child’s belongings with their full name to prevent items from being lost.
