Happy Faces Prep School began its journey in 1980. Jennifer and Dave Kruse took the helm in 2001, and the owners have nurtured Happy Faces for more than two decades. The program states that every decision starts with the question, “What’s the best for the kids?” and describes the setting as a true family environment with teachers who care like family. Its mission is to provide a safe, clean, and warm educational environment where young children can thrive. The school notes that it is more than a school and is described as a neighbor, partner, and helping hand in the community.
Happy Faces Prep School offers programs for infants, toddlers, Pre-K (3’s), 4’s/VPK, and school-age children at both of its locations. The environment includes bright classrooms, natural playgrounds, and gardens that are used for learning, along with other natural outdoor spaces. The program has been recognized as a top scoring Kindergarten Readiness Program.
In the community, Happy Faces Prep School partners with Loaves & Fishes to collect food for families in need, participates in Toys for Tots, and joins local walk-a-thons including Autism walks. It offers partial and full scholarships to help families access quality care and supports local police and community heroes.
