• Schedule: Free trial class options are available on Monday or Tuesday at 5:30pm.

TEAM Praise Force Taekwondo states that its mission is to help families throughout the community reach optimum health through the art and science of the Taekwondo system. The program offers classes for students from preschool to adult, from beginner through advanced, and notes that the safety of students is its first priority. It identifies itself as a faith based Taekwondo program building tomorrow's leaders and as a Christian Taekwondo University (CTU) that includes prayer for team and family members and Bible verses in its curriculum. The business has been in operation teaching martial arts based in Christianity since May 2002 and describes itself as “TPF is The Perfect Family!” and “The Best After School Martial Arts Program!” and states that it offers an instructional, safe, and fun summer camp. The program notes that masks may be worn in class for personal peace of mind and that it takes pride in its quality instruction and “Safe and Happy” environment, and it states, “We love our TEAM and hope to have you be a part!”

The leadership team includes Master Jessi Rodriguez, Ms. Sherri or Ms Sheri as the owner, and a staff of Black Belts. The program states that its Black Belts are Kukkiwon Certified and internationally recognized for their rank and accomplishments, and that it proudly teaches World Taekwondo Federation poomsaes and sparring system. It is a registered School Board Vendor with PCSB. Master Jessi Rodriguez is listed as a USCDKA Hall of Fame recipient for being a pioneer in Taekwondo, was appointed USCDKA Chung Do Extreme (CDX) Adviser by Sr. Grandmaster Edward B. Sell and Grandmaster Brenda J. Sell, created and filmed CDX forms that are used in national competition, is described as an 11-time undefeated Grand National Champion in the Extreme Forms category, and earned 1st place in Men’s Extreme Open Forms at the ISKA US Open 2019.

TEAM Praise Force Taekwondo reports community involvement through demonstrations for The Anchor House, Toys for Tots, City-Con Comic Convention, and many outreach ministries. Parent testimonials describe children gaining confidence and self control, enjoying meeting new friends, and liking the staff, including repeated mentions of Master Jessi and Ms. Sherri or Ms Sheri being “terrific,” “amazing with the kids,” and “super friendly and patient.” One parent notes that their child’s self confidence has grown and that the child has made friends and learned respect from the teachers, while another parent states that TPF has been “a God Send” for their 5-year-old and that they feel their child is in great hands. A parent of a 10-year-old 2nd Dan competitor on the NASKA circuit reports that after private lessons with Master Jessi, their child’s weapon work improved, scores in tournaments increased, and the child finished the 2022 season as a World Top Ten Competitor on the NASKA circuit. Other parents mention children progressing in belt rank, enjoying the after school program, and learning formations in a short time.
