Ruthie’s Notions Classes and Events offers Make It and Take It classes, lecture demos, embroidery classes, sewing classes, quilting classes, serging classes, and one on one training. The classes use embroidery, sewing, quilting, and serger machines, and most classes are free.

• Quilting classes — Classes to learn how to use quilting machines and make beautiful things with them.
• Serging classes — Classes to learn how to use sergers and make beautiful things with them.
• One on one training — One on one training with the machines purchased from the store.

About the provider

Ruthie has sold Baby Lock machines for over 30 years. The business grew from an extra bedroom, then a single-car garage for 10 years, to a 1200 sq ft classroom. It is an Authorized Baby Lock & Brother Repair Center and a Brother and High Performance Baby Lock Platinum Dealer. The program has also received an award from Brother for 2018, an award from Baby Lock for Top Ten Retailer Single Location for 2018, and the #1 Baby Lock Retailer, Single Location, for over 5 years in a row.

Most classes are free. Sign up early because classes fill up fast. Not all machines can be repaired same day. Call to make an appointment with technicians.
