David Barnhill is a trained Baby Lock Technician and has been servicing Baby Lock machines for almost 20 years. The program specializes in Brother and Baby Lock embroidery, sewing, quilting machines, and sergers, and offers one on one training with machines purchased from them. Teachers from all over the world teach the classes, and attendees are fed country food at classes. The program offers classes to help start or grow a business using the machines and offers Make It and Take It classes. Most classes are free, and they customize Baby Lock or Brother packages.

When bringing in a Baby Lock or Brother sewing or embroidery machine for service, power cords, presser feet, and similar items are not required. The needle does not need to be removed, as it will be replaced during cleaning and service. Everything should be removed from the machine except the bobbin case. Families are instructed to call to make an appointment with technicians, and not all machines can be repaired the same day, so they are asked to call for availability and to make an appointment.
