YMCA of Southwest Florida Summer Camps include day camp and summer camp experiences that connect campers with a wide range of YMCA activities. Depending on the location, campers may have access to facilities such as a family pool and splash pad, indoor and outdoor pools, a gymnasium, playground, indoor and outdoor tracks, racquetball and handball courts, pickleball courts, tennis courts, and strength and cardio equipment. Camps take place within YMCA of Southwest Florida facilities that also host Kids Zone programs, youth enrichment, recreational sports leagues, gymnastics, adaptive programs, and Teen leadership opportunities such as Youth in Government.

The YMCA of Southwest Florida has served the community for over 50 years. The organization’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. YMCA of Southwest Florida is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. It is community-based and offers a scholarship program so programs and services are available to everyone regardless of ability to pay. The Y envisions itself as an intergenerational community hub with programs, services, and resources available to all persons, regardless of status or ability to pay, and recognizes the strength of diversity in school-age programs while making every reasonable accommodation for all children’s success. The YMCA very openly welcomes third party paraprofessionals and behavioral therapists to accompany children in programs, and financial assistance is available through scholarship information and application.
Membership at YMCA of Southwest Florida includes access to all 10 YMCA locations, pool and spa usage, and two hours of childcare free each day while a parent or guardian works out. Members receive special rates on recreational sports leagues, summer camp, adult fitness programs, and more. YMCA facilities also offer water exercise classes, swim lessons, group exercise classes such as BODYPUMP, Zumba, TRX, Pilates, and Yoga, as well as personal training, adult enrichment programs, after school child care, a YMCA children’s academy, and a community garden. Amenities at various locations include a hot tub, sauna, steam room, meeting rooms, and Kids Zone programs. Orientations are available with professional wellness staff who are nationally certified fitness and wellness experts.
