About the provider
Homeschool Extras has been homeschooling for the past 6 years. The program is led by Katie and Ryan. Katie has a BS in Elementary Education from Martin Luther College, taught in private schools for 11 1/2 years, and has current first aid and CPR certification and a background check. Ryan has over 20 years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong background in C# and SQL.
All classes are drop-off due to space constraints, though parent attendance can be arranged upon request. The program is Christian and has a Biblical worldview that will come out in some classes. A free devotion or chapel starts the day. They are a Step Up for Students provider and are listed on the Step Up EMA site for Florida PEP and FES-UA students. Classes try to be limited to 20 children. Some classes may not be offered every session.
