School of Surf

School of Surf offers spring and summer camps and surf lessons. Camp options include Spring Camp, Summer Camp 1 through Summer Camp 10, and Mini Grom Camp. Surf lessons are available as private one-on-one, semi-private for two, or group lessons for three or more participants.

• Spring Camp — $400 per week · Half day camp. March 22 – March 27, 9am – 12pm
• Summer Camp 1 — $425 per week · Full day camp. June 1 – June 5, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Summer Camp 2 — $425 per week · Full day camp. June 8 – June 12, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Summer Camp 3 — $425 per week · Full day camp. June 15 – June 19, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Summer Camp 4 — $425 per week · Full day camp. June 22 – June 26, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Mini Grom Camp — $340 per week · June 29 – July 3, 9am – 12pm
• Summer Camp 6 — $425 per week · Full day camp. July 6 – July 10, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Summer Camp 7 — $425 per week · Full day camp. July 13 – July 17, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Summer Camp 8 — $425 per week · Full day camp. July 20 – July 24, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!
• Summer Camp 9 — $425 per week · Full day camp. July 27 – July 31, 9am – 2pm. Pack them lunch!

About the provider

School of Surf was founded in 2011 by Lauren and Todd Holland. Lauren McLean is owner and Master Instructor for lessons, Todd Holland is owner and Master Instructor of Camps, and Forrest manages surf camps and is the year-round Head Instructor. The school says it has over 30 years of surfing and coaching expertise. It is fully licensed and insured, and all instructors are background-checked, CPR/BLS certified, and trained. Todd spent more than a decade competing on the ASP World Tour, with wins and a top 8 world ranking, and Lauren is a decorated east coast competitor and former member of the U.S. Amateur Surfing Team.

Lessons include classroom instruction, ocean safety, dry land practice, and water time. Camp safety is described as the number one value. Parking around back. Camps and lessons are by appointment.
