School of Surf offers surf lessons, spring camps, summer camps, and after-school competitive coaching. The program also runs the Todd Holland Surf Team, which focuses on competitive surfing. Each lesson begins with classroom instruction that covers safety, equipment handling, and proper technique before moving to water practice.

School of Surf was founded in 2011 by Lauren and Todd Holland and is fully licensed and insured. It is one of the only fully licensed and insured surf schools in Cocoa Beach and offers private, semi-private, and group surf lessons. The program brings over 30 years of surfing and coaching experience and follows structured lessons and proven coaching methods with a stated focus on safety, structure, and fun in every session.
All instructors are background-checked, CPR/BLS certified, and trained to adapt lessons for students ranging from first-time surfers to advanced competitors. Lauren McLean is the owner and Master Instructor for lessons, a former United States Surf Team member, a decorated East Coast competitor, and has been teaching surfing for over 20 years. Todd Holland is the owner and Master Instructor of camps, a former top 10 Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP World Tour) surfer who was ranked among the top 8 surfers in the world on the ASP World Tour, competed on the tour for over 10 years winning several events, and coaches upon request. Forrest manages surf camps, serves as the year-round Head Instructor, grew up in a surfing family in Cocoa Beach, was a top competitor on the Cocoa Beach High School Surf Team, and has been one of Cocoa Beach’s top Lifeguard Captains.
