Boys & Girls Clubs of Citrus and Marion Counties offers daily activities that include homework help, tutoring, reading books, and participating in literacy events. Members participate in science experiments and write poetry, stories, screen plays, and letters to military troops who are deployed. The program also includes mentoring, exploring math concepts in real life scenarios, and time for sports, fitness, playing, and exercising, with each member spending at least one hour each day playing and exercising.

• Schedule: Programming is offered during the hours of 3–8 pm on a consistent, daily basis, 52 weeks per year.

The Clubs are managed by a full-time chief professional officer and governed by a volunteer board of directors made up of local residents.
