Canino's Karate and Boxing Studio Youth Boxing & Kickboxing Classes

Canino's Karate and Boxing Studio Youth Boxing & Kickboxing Classes offers youth boxing and kickboxing classes. The program also includes kids boxing and kickboxing one-to-one training, private training, semi sessions, and open gym training for members only.

• Youth Boxing & Kickboxing Classes — 6 graders and up; 5th grader and younger must start with private one-to-one training until built up to youth classes · Tue and Thu 4:30 pm-5:30 pm; Mon 6:30 pm Boxing; Wed 6:00 pm Kickboxing; Sat 9:30 am invitation-only sparring

About the provider

The gym has been operating since 1985. Bonnie "The Cobra" Canino is a retired 2-time World Champion Kickboxer and the first Woman Featherweight World Champion Boxer. Her credentials also include 4 World Titles in the 1990s, 2-time US Open Karate Tournament Champion, 4th Degree Black Belt Jui-Kung-Karbo, Black Belt in Chinese Kenpo, Black Belt in WTA, AIBA/USA Boxing 3 Star Coach/Official Level III Certificated, and inductions into the Martial Art Hall of Fame in 2004, the Broward County Hall of Fame in 2008, and the 2014 International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame.

• Kids Boxing & Kickboxing One-to-One Training — Ages 5 to 9 · 1/2 hour sessions once or twice a week · One-to-one training with the instructor
• Adult Boxing & Kickboxing Classes — Adults · Mon, Tue and Thu 6:30 pm-7:45 pm; Tue and Thu 4:30 pm Boxing; Wed 6:00 pm Kickboxing; Sat 9:30 am sparring
• Private Training — Men, women, youth, junior / co-ed / age 5 & up · By appointment in advance · Private classes with trainers/coaches
• Semi Sessions — Men, women, youth, and juniors · By appointment in advance
• Open Gym Training — Members only · During gym hours

All private training times should be scheduled in advance. 12-hour private training cancellation policy. If the gym has reached capacity, entry is not allowed until there is space available. Additional off-hours may be available with trainers and coaches.
