Dania Beach Summer Camp includes outdoor activities along with arts and crafts. The camp is described as an unforgettable summer adventure and offers a mix of thrilling outdoor activities and engaging arts and crafts for participants. The camp is designed for children and preteens and includes opportunities for fun, friendships, and learning experiences.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: 2026 Summer Camp; dates to be determined. City Hall hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday by scheduled appointment.
The program is part of the City of Dania Beach. The City Commission determines policy, adopts legislation, approves the city’s budget, levies taxes, and sets fees, and the City Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer responsible for implementing policies adopted by the City Commission. The current leadership includes Mayor Joyce L. Davis, Vice Mayor Marco A. Salvino, Sr., and Commissioners Lori Lewellen, Luis Rimoli, and Archibald J. Ryan IV. The city has been recognized with credentials such as being named one of the Top 100 U.S. Small Cities to Start a Business, and it features the Sea Turtle, the first Wyland sculpture in the contiguous United States. Community involvement activities in the city include a public workshop on the Resiliency Action Plan, the Pier Perks Program with free Wednesday pier admission for seniors, the Alert Dania Beach registration program, the Southeast Drainage Project, and the Lift Station Improvement Project.
