Performer’s Edge Dance Center

Performer’s Edge Dance Center offers Dance with me and Flip with me for children ages 18 months to 2 1/2, with 30-minute classes. It also offers Creative Movement and Flip Hop for ages 2 1/2 to 3, plus Ballet/Tap Combo, Flip Hop Combo, Broadway Jazz, and Cheer Fundamentals for ages 4 to 5. For ages 6 and up, the program includes Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics.

Programs

• Dance with me — 18 months to 2 1/2 · 30-minute classes · An introductory class for moms/dads and their young dancers. One guardian allowed in the class with their child only and must fully assist the child at all times.
• Flip with me — 18 months to 2 1/2 · 30-minute classes
• Creative Movement — 2 1/2 to 3 · 30-minute classes · An introduction to the art of dance. Dancers will learn coordination, motor skills, and rhythm along with fun with games and theme days.
• Flip Hop — 2 1/2 to 3 · 30-minute classes · Basic tumbling, kids hip hop dance, and weekly challenges and obstacle course.
• Ballet/Tap Combo — 4 to 5 · A combination class of both ballet and tap. Children will learn the basic steps and terminology of both ballet and tap.
• Flip Hop Combo — 4 to 5 · Basic tumbling, kids hip hop dance, and weekly challenges and obstacle course.
• Broadway Jazz — 4 to 5 · A Jazz class for 4 & 5 year olds that will introduce them to fundamentals of jazz technique and also involve some theatrical styles.
• Cheer Fundamentals — 4 to 5 · Learn and practice fundamental cheer leading skills including motions, jumps, cheers and chants, dances, stunts and basic tumbling.
• Ballet — 6 and up; 7-10; 11 and up · Classes consist of barre and center work and traveling exercises. Terminology is taught along with proper placement, balance and development of poise and grace.
• Jazz — 6 and up; 7-10 · A stylized theatrical form of dance influenced by the musical styles of several decades. Classes consist of warm-up, isolation, stretching, center combos, and across the floor technique.
• Tap — 6 and up; 7-10
• Acrobatics — 6 and up; 7-10 · Students will learn acrobatic movement such as stretches, forward/back rolls, handstands, cartwheels and more.

About the provider

Performer’s Edge Dance Center was established in 2003 and has more than 23 years of dance excellence. The director and owner is Amie Hollborn, who also serves as studio director. The mission is teaching the passion of dance to the performers of tomorrow, passing on the passion for the art of dance to students of any skill level and age, and expanding creativity and self-expression.

Tuition due on the first of each month; registration fee and August class fee due when registering; class size is limited; no refunds/tuition discounts for holidays, studio closings, sickness, vacation, or other reasons; late pickup results in $1/minute charge after a 10-minute grace period; recital costume payments due November 15th 2026; recital weekend is June 5th and 6th with four shows A, B, C, D.
