About
Lyonia Environmental Center Programs and Camps include chances to tour the center, learn about the environment through interactive hands-on displays and computer modules, and learn about the endangered Florida scrub jay. Participants can meet animal ambassadors, test their water knowledge, view a 425-gallon saltwater aquarium, explore the preserve, experience the scrub habitat, and look for Florida scrub jays, gopher tortoises, and other animals that live in scrub. The program also includes time to have lunch in a pavilion and offers programs for families, adults, scouts, homeschoolers, school field trips, summer camps, and an Annual Wildlife Festival.
