Each year, the Dunedin Fine Art Center provides over 1,000 class sessions and workshops for children and adults, led by more than 70 professional artists renowned for their expertise. The mission at the Dunedin Fine Art Center is to enrich lives through educational experiences in the visual arts. The Art Center’s exhibitions are curated by Curator Danny Olda, and ever-changing exhibits showcase local, national, and international artists. The David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum is dedicated to the youngest artists, and the Gallery Shop features works by local artists, including jewelry, paintings, ceramics, and more.

The idea for an art center in Dunedin began in 1969 with five women from the Junior Service League of Clearwater-Dunedin, and the doors of the original facility opened to the public in February 1975. With the support of the League and the City of Dunedin, the groundwork was laid for what became the Dunedin Fine Art Center, which relies on supporters such as volunteers, members, and teachers. Trashy Treasures, described as Tampa Bay’s Most Beloved Art Garage Sale, is powered by community donations and gives once-loved artwork and gently used art supplies a second life while supporting exhibitions, education programs, and community initiatives.

Gift Certificates can be used for memberships, adult or youth classes and workshops, summer art camp, Gallery Gift Shop purchases, and original artwork from exhibitions, and are mailed directly to the recipient and redeemed in person at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.
