Camp Boggy Creek offers activities where campers can catch their first fish, go horseback riding, and climb a ropes tower. The camp serves children ages 7–16 who have been diagnosed with a serious illness. Diagnosis groups served include Asthma, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Craniofacial conditions, Diabetes (Family camp only), Epilepsy, Heart conditions, Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders, Immune Deficiency, Gastrointestinal illnesses, Kidney conditions, Sickle Cell, Spina Bifida, and Transplant.

Camp Boggy Creek was founded in 1996 by actor Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. Since opening in 1996, the camp has provided over 90,000 campers and their families with a serious medical illness a free camp experience, and for 30 years it has provided joy and belonging to 95,000 campers and families. It is a year-round retreat serving thousands of campers and their families through activity-packed weekly and weekend camp programs in a medically-sound environment that provides top-tier medical care. Camp Boggy Creek provides a medically safe and exciting camp experience for children from throughout Florida who are diagnosed with specified disease groups and offers fellowship where children can spend time with others who are just like them and share their life-experiences. Camp Boggy Creek makes it possible for children with serious illnesses and their families to experience a free camp where safety, respect, love, and joy come together to enrich their physical and behavioral health.
