About
Whispering Pines Equestrian LLC offers riding lessons, trail riding, farm parties, day camps, girl and boy scout visits, field trips, and homeschool lessons. Activities include barrel racing, round pen work, arena and rail work, ground games, trail rides, obstacles, bonding activities, and work with problem horses. The program also works on trailer loading and desensitizing.

• Price: Lessons $50 per hour; Trail riding $60 per hour
Sarah Schlaich is the instructor and trainer at Whispering Pines Equestrian LLC. The program focuses on teaching basic horsemanship to children and adults, practicing western riding at all levels, and offering all-around horse knowledge and care. It works toward a positive response and goal achievement while building a partnership between horse and rider, and can work with or at a family’s facility using either the family’s horses or the program’s horses.
