Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida Afterschool and Summer Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida Afterschool and Summer Programs operate at multiple club sites and include afterschool and summer offerings. The program runs on weekdays during afterschool hours at both community-based and school-based locations.

• Schedule: Community-based sites operate Monday–Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm, and school-based sites operate Monday–Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm

For over 60 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida have served youth in the region. The organization states a mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need the Clubs most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Clubs serve more than 5,500 young people daily in Alachua, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties. The organization has earned a 2026 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency. Freedom Center Boys & Girls Club (Nassau) is led by Unit Director Shanta Albury, and the Learning & Achievement Center (Nassau) is led by Unit Director Yaneka Lamey. Transportation is provided from select schools, with details available directly from each Club. McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond operates in an outdoor camp setting under the same mission as Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The Springfield Teen Center offers a banquet hall that can be rented for special events with seating for up to 200 guests and outdoor accommodations, and the organization also operates a Print Shop that provides high-quality printing services while helping fund Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida programs.
