The Learning Lab

The Learning Lab offers Academic Intervention Lab, Homework Lab, Learning Lab Full Time Academic Program, SMART Summer Program, Flex Summer Program, Fast ForWord Cognitive Training Software, I3 Lab — Individualized Academic Instruction, Neuro Lab — CogMed Working Memory Training, Barton Reading and Spelling System, Wilson Just Words, Seeing Stars, and Foundation in Sounds. These programs include in-depth screening, personalized learning, 1:1 private tutoring, small-group homework support with a maximum of three students per teacher, daily academic remediation, six-week summer instruction, flexible summer scheduling, digital intervention, one-on-one intensive instruction, working memory training, and structured literacy instruction.

• Academic Intervention Lab — 6-14 · In-depth screening, personalized learning, and 1:1 private tutoring for children with ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and more.
• Homework Lab — 6-14 · After-school small group homework support with a maximum of three students per teacher; focuses on executive functioning, organization, time management, and completing work.
• Learning Lab Full Time Academic Program — 6-14 · Daily, comprehensive academic remediation for children who are a year or more behind academically; includes personalized education plans and support for homeschooling compliance in Florida.
• SMART Summer Program — 6-14 · Six-week intensive summer program for children who are a year or more behind or struggling with academic skills.
• Flex Summer Program — 6-14 · Flexible summer scheduling program designed to prevent the summer slide and maintain academic momentum.
• Fast ForWord Cognitive Training Software — 6-14 · Digital intervention program that targets language and reading difficulty and builds cognitive and foundational skills.
• I3 Lab — Individualized Academic Instruction — 6-14 · One-on-one intensive instruction for students who have fallen behind academically because of ADHD.
• Neuro Lab — CogMed Working Memory Training — 6-14 · Science-based digital program designed for children with ADHD that targets working memory.
• Barton Reading and Spelling System — 6-14 · Orton-Gillingham based structured literacy program used for students with dyslexia.
• Wilson Just Words — 6-14 · Structured literacy program designed for older students, typically 4th grade and up, who need decoding and spelling instruction.
• Seeing Stars — 6-14 · Program that builds orthographic processing and supports phonics and spelling for students with dyslexia.
• Foundation in Sounds — 6-14 · Program for younger learners that builds phonemic awareness, the foundational skill for reading.
