YMCA Summer Camp includes activities such as swimming in indoor and outdoor pools, using a family pool and splash pad, and taking part in swim lessons. Campers have access to youth sports, recreational sports leagues, gymnastics, Youth in Government, teen programs, youth enrichment, and adaptive programs. The broader YMCA setting also includes a Kids Zone, playground, community garden, outdoor track, pickleball and tennis courts, racquetball and handball courts, group exercise classes like BODYPUMP, Zumba, TRX, Pilates, yoga, water exercise classes, and adult fitness and enrichment programs, as well as after school child care, day camp, personal training, hot tub, sauna, and steam room.

The Mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Orientations are available with professional wellness staff who are nationally certified fitness and wellness experts. YMCA of Southwest Florida is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility, and it is described as an intergenerational community hub with programs, services, and resources available to all persons, regardless of status or ability to pay. Camps are progressive so campers can continuously explore new adventures and responsibilities as they grow, and the YMCA recognizes the strength of diversity in school-age programs and makes every reasonable accommodation for all children’s success, including very openly welcoming third party paraprofessionals and behavioral therapists to accompany children in programs.
