The Dance Lounge offers Mommy & Me, Little Stars, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acro, Pom & Cheer, and Leaps & Turns. Little Stars is for students ages 2.5 to 5 and includes movement, technical body positions, props, and characterization. Lyrical/Contemporary includes lyrical dance with ballet and jazz technique, soft and inspiring music, and contemporary work. Hip Hop uses upbeat and fun music, Musical Theatre includes character building, improvisation exercises, and choreography to musical and Broadway tunes, Acro includes limbering, balancing, tumbling, strength, and flexibility, and Pom & Cheer includes motions, technique, choreography, and live cheers.
Programs
- Mommy & Me
- Little Stars — 2.5+ · For students 2.5 to 5 years of age. Designed to introduce young dancers to movement and technical body positions through the use of props and characterization.
- Lyrical/Contemporary — Experience lyrical dance, which combines the fundamentals from both ballet and jazz technique, with choreography set to soft and inspiring music. Dancers will also work on contemporary in this class.
- Hip Hop — Experience the world of hip hop (a street dance style) with upbeat and fun music.
- Musical Theatre — Experience the world of musical theater through character building, improvisation exercises and choreography set to musical and Broadway tunes!
- Acro — An introduction to Acro limbering, balancing, tumbling, strength and flexibility. The acrobatic program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results!
- Pom & Cheer — Experience pom & cheer skills, motions & technique and learn choreography and live cheers. This class is a great way to prepare and gain skills for the Performance Pom & Cheer Experience!
- Leaps & Turns
