About
Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County Youth Programs include neighborhood-based Clubhouses, school-based Clubs, and a Mobile Club. The program offers a diverse range of programs focused on health, education, leadership, career readiness, and character development. School-based Clubs serve all students from grade K–12, and neighborhood-based Clubhouses serve students from K–12 grade.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: School-based Clubs are open after school until 6:00 p.m., with some locations also open from 7:00 a.m. until school begins; Clubhouses are open five days a week after school until 7:00 p.m.
For over 30 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County has been a cornerstone of youth development. The organization operates nearly 30 locations throughout the county, including 29 Clubhouses, school-based Clubs, and a Mobile Club, and serves more than 2,200 youth daily and 16,000 youth annually. It is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and includes 21st Century Learning Centers, an A+ Attendance Support Program, Summer Camp Programs, and Spring Break Camp. The program’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Club members have completed over 25,000 community service hours, contributing to the 25,000+ community service hours recorded in 2022. In 2022, the organization collaborated with partners to amplify impact, including a $500,000 commitment from Cleveland Clinic to expand food security and wellness initiatives for St. Lucie County youth and families. The program provides over 1,000,000 meals, snacks, and food pantry items annually. A swag store is available where 10% of all merchandise sales go directly to Club initiatives. The organization has received recognition that includes a local member, Enrique, being named Florida Youth of the Year.
