Emerald Coast Science Center Programs include workshops, field trips, birthday parties, and a mobile planetarium, along with animal encounters and robotics activities. Children and teens can explore interactive exhibits, including over 45 exhibits, and use the sciPad featuring SMALLab Learning as part of their visit to this interactive museum space.

The Emerald Coast Science Center Programs take place in an interactive museum that features the STEAM Machine, new exhibits, live animals, robotics exhibits, and sciPad featuring SMALLab Learning within 8,000 square feet of indoor space and 2 acres of property. The center has promoted STEAM education and public outreach in Okaloosa County and beyond for over 30 years. Its mission statement is to inspire and grow a scientifically engaged community. The Emerald Coast Science Center has received recognition as BEST MUSEUM and is committed to serving Northwest Florida residents and visitors through STEAM programming and exhibits. The organization’s leadership team includes Director Diane Fraser; Museum and Program Coordinator Lisa Parkinson; Development and Marketing Coordinator Kate Fox; Community Affairs Coordinator Harley Peters; and Social Media Coordinator Eileen Cook. The center also produces the Cultivate Curiosity podcast.
