Emerald Coast Science Center Programs includes in-school, on-site, and virtual Programs & Workshops, plus on-site programs for children, programming for adults, and outreach programs for schools and organizations. Program activities are offered for toddlers, kids, preteens, teenagers, and all ages, and all programs require pre-registration and pre-payment at least one day before the program.

About the provider

The Emerald Coast Science Center has promoted STEAM education and public outreach in Okaloosa County and beyond for over 30 years. Its mission is to inspire and grow a scientifically engaged community, and it is committed to serving Northwest Florida, its residents, and its visitors through STEAM programming and exhibits.

All programs require pre-registration and pre-payment. Registration and payment must be received at least one day prior to the program. For special needs of students, staff are not trained behavior specialists; one-on-one conference with an educator may be scheduled at least a week before the child's next class. Please review the code of conduct page on the registration form. Accessible parking spaces, accessible restrooms, accessible walkways and ramps indoors and outdoors, numerous accessible exhibits, and registered/licensed service animals are allowed.
